The Panhellenic Exporters Association (PSE), the foremost competent body for exports, was founded in 1945 and is the country’s central export organization. Its members include exporting companies, cooperatives, and export organizations from all sectors and all geographic regions of the country.
The purpose of PSE is to promote the interests of its members, as well as to strengthen export activity within the framework of the broader progress and outward orientation of the national economy.
Now in its eighth decade of continuous activity, the Association is positioned to contribute more effectively to the modernization of the country’s export base, to its qualitative upgrading, and to the better utilization of the new conditions that have emerged in international trade.
With a history spanning many decades, the country’s central export organization maintains a sustained presence and intervention in the decision-making process concerning exporters:
• In Government and among representatives of Public Administration
• In the institutions of Economic Diplomacy
• In export support organizations
• In the mass media, etc.
PSE plays a significant role in promoting the requests of exporting enterprises through the institutional participation of its representatives in Committees or Boards of various Public Organizations and Councils, indicatively:
• The National Council for Extroversion
• The Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry
• The Trade Facilitation Committee, etc.
From a thorough analysis of export developments in the current decade, it becomes clear that a new development model is required, with the outward orientation of the Greek economy as the primary objective. This model should simultaneously include the following fields:
• Programs supporting Extroversion and Competitiveness
• Financing of small and medium-sized enterprises
• Strengthening of the Economic and Commercial Affairs Offices
• Ways to limit and address Bureaucracy
• Modernization of Customs authorities and customs procedures
• Addressing problems arising from foreign authorities in issuing import licenses and customs clearance
• Issues of unfair competition from other countries, etc.
The Board of Directors and the staff of PSE envision and support a new development model for the Greek economy, with extroversion as a core pillar. For this reason, PSE members are given the opportunity to participate in shaping its policy, determining the actions of its Administration, and developing their positions on the sector’s problems and prospects.
The goal of PSE and the new Administration, which is composed of entrepreneurs with proven and long-standing experience in the export sector, is the overall extroversion of the Greek economy and the support of the country’s exports. By intensifying its efforts to provide even more immediate and higher-quality services to its member companies, PSE offers a range of benefits. In this context, members of the Association gain privileged access to actions such as:
• Immediate Information
• Networking
• Promotion and publicity of their products
• Participation in Exhibitions, Conferences, Seminars, etc.
Communication with our members includes the monthly Newsletter and regular press releases that are sent to more than 18,000 recipients, achieving impressive readability figures (85 percent opens, 67 percent reads). Through these, we highlight important news, analyses, and actions related to the export community, as well as our members’ news.
At the same time, beyond the Newsletter, all statistical data by country, region, and product category, announcements, press releases, etc., are available on our new, modern, and functional website, which is now live.
As part of our ongoing support for exports and the national economy, we would like to invite you to join PSE as a member. Your registration with the Association is a strategic investment for your company and will decisively strengthen your voice, accelerating our country’s dynamic participation in international markets.
We are at your disposal to discuss further details regarding the opportunities that our cooperation can offer. We are confident that cooperation with PSE is an investment in the future of the Greek economy and in the competitiveness of Greek enterprises.
With respect,
The Board of Directors
